Expanding Northeast Costco Stores

Pas Yisroel Kosher, Sprouted Seven-Grain Bread Now Offered in East Coast Stores

MILWAUKEE – Today, Angelic Bakehouse, the leading brand of sprouted grain bread, announced that their certified kosher, Sprouted Seven-Grain bread, will be launching in select Costco locations in the northeast this week. Along with the three Costco stores in the Pittsburgh area, nine additional locations in New York, New Jersey, and Maryland – including Brooklyn, Rochester, and Gaithersburg – will be carrying the seven-grain bread.

Jenny Marino, CEO and president of Angelic Bakehouse, expressed her gratitude for the overwhelming support received from the kosher community. She stated, "We are thankful and proud of this support and thrilled to now be able to bring our products to a much larger kosher audience through our expansion at Costco."

Angelic Bakehouse’s production facility, process, and sprouted grain breads are all certified kosher and Pas Yisroel by OK Kosher Certification. By extending its presence in Costco, Angelic Bakehouse aims to provide a higher level of convenience to health-conscious consumers who adhere to kosher dietary requirements.

Rabbi Avermi Schapiro, who has been consuming Angelic Bakehouse products for more than seven years, praised their flavor and nutritional value. He mentioned, "Once I found these products, I knew I would never eat another bread again. I literally travel with it in my suitcase."

In addition to being Non-GMO Project Verified, Angelic’s Sprouted Seven-Grain bread is also free from common allergens such as eggs, dairy, fish, shellfish, peanuts, tree nuts, and soy. This bread is popular among individuals following a diet, as each slice contains only 60 calories and 1.5 Weight Watchers SmartPoints*.

Marino highlighted Angelic Bakehouse’s proprietary process of creating a purer, more nutrient-dense, and better-tasting product through their sprouted mash. According to her, modern consumers demand better ingredients, less processing, and higher nutritional value without compromising on taste. Angelic Bakehouse's sprouted grain products fulfill these demands and more. The unique ingredient used in their bread is made fresh for every batch.

Angelic Bakehouse’s Sprouted Seven-Grain bread is available at Costco in a three-loaf bulk pack priced at $6.79, which offers significant value to Costco members at $2.26 per loaf compared to the average retail price of $4.50.
