Expanding Northeast Costco Stores

Pas Yisroel Kosher, Sprouted Seven-Grain Bread Now Available in East Coast Stores

MILWAUKEE – Angelic Bakehouse, the leader in sprouted grain bread, has announced that its certified kosher, Sprouted Seven-Grain bread will be introduced in selected Costco locations in the northeast this week. The product is already available in three Pittsburgh area stores. Now, nine Costco locations in New York, New Jersey, and Maryland, including Brooklyn, Rochester, and Gaithersburg, will offer the seven-grain bread.

Angelica Bakehouse CEO and president, Jenny Marino, expresses gratitude for the overwhelming support from the kosher community. She states, "We are thankful and proud of this support and thrilled to now be able to bring our products to a much larger kosher audience with our expansion at Costco."

Angelic Bakehouse's sprouted grain breads, as well as their production facility and process, are certified kosher and Pas Yisroel by OK Kosher Certification. This expansion at Costco will provide greater convenience for health-conscious consumers following kosher dietary requirements.

Rabbi Avermi Schapiro, a long-time consumer of Angelic Bakehouse products, shares his satisfaction, "I have been eating Angelic Bakehouse products for over seven years. I was searching for something delicious, good for you, and most importantly, it had to meet the highest standards of kosher. This combination is impossible to find. Once I found these products, I knew I would never eat another bread again. I literally travel with it in my suitcase."

Angelic's Sprouted Seven-Grain bread is also Non-GMO Project Verified and free from common allergens such as eggs, dairy, fish, shellfish, peanuts, tree nuts, and soy. With only 60 calories per slice and 1.5 Weight Watchers SmartPoints*, this bread is popular among dieters.

"Our proprietary sprouted mash process leads to a purer, more nutrient-dense, and above all, better-tasting product," says Marino. "Today's consumers demand better ingredients, less processing, and higher nutritional value without sacrificing great taste. Our sprouted grain products provide exactly that, and more. It's the result of the careful crafting of this unique ingredient, which is made fresh for every batch."

Angelic Bakehouse's Sprouted Seven-Grain bread is available at Costco in a three-loaf bulk package for $6.79, offering Costco members significant value at $2.26 per loaf compared to the average retail price of $4.50.
