| Lowes foods has really stepped up their game! Amazing bakery items, always clean, the beer / wine bar aera is neat looking and last time I was there, there were alot of people socializing . It was alot of night life for a grocery store! They have really rose above Harris Teeter in my opinion. The prices are comparable too if not a tad lower.. Harris Teeter has dropped a few notices in quality over the last few years it seems. |

I like Lowes a lot too. I just wish they would get a location in High Point. Right now, I have to drive past a bunch of solid options to get to Lowe's... and soon another Publix will be part of that as well... I was really hoping Palladium South would get Lowe's instead. Oh well, maybe one day. |

New Publix will be in Palladium South... across from Food Lion and Neighborhood Market in the new development across from High Point's Palladium. |

Understood. I thought I'd suggest it in case it was more convenient than one of those other locations. There used to be a Lowes Foods within the city limits of High Point on Westchester Drive next to the old mall.Personally, I'm not a huge fan because I think their prices are as high or higher than Harris Teeter and I've had more experiences with seeing foods out of date or going bad than places that are cheaper like Food Lion. But I guess we all have our own things that we like about certain stores. It's just not my favorite. |

I take it it was where the trampoline park is now?I definitely would have gone there for groceries. It was hinted a while back on Nextdoor there could be development in the somewhat near future off of Main across from Aldi/Sheetz where they're building the storage facility. I wonder if that will turn into more shopping... and an opportunity for a Lowe's. Perhaps could lower prices on this side of town too. The Palladium Food Lion is considerably cheaper for staples for instance than North Main. |
