Scottsdale’s food scene isn’t just restricted to cowboy steaks and Southwestern fare. Across the 400 or so restaurants in the city, you’ll find tons of different cuisines excelling at what they do, from family-run Italian gems to modern Latin tacos, empanadas and more.

Our favourite is Talavera at the Four Seasons, where you’ll find perfectly executed tapas dishes, from paella to octopus in mojo picón, which has been slinging out Spanish delights since 2008, but got two new additions to their team in February 2023. You won’t be disappointed. For all this and more, here are the best restaurants in Scottsdale right now.

Best restaurants in Scottsdale

1. Talavera at Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale

Helmed by executive chef Chuck Kazmer, this picturesque restaurant serves creative Spanish-rooted dishes and then some. Dine al fresco on the beautiful patio in view of Pinnacle Peak or gather inside at convivial community tables for paella de mariscos, charred octopus with mojo picón and guajillo chile, or global specials like duck prosciutto with toasted sesame crema, strawberry-rhubarb mostarda and pistachios. For the full experience, plan pre-dinner tapas and gin tonics (served in goblets as they are in Spain) in the Gin Bar tucked away inside the restaurant.

6. Franco’s Italian Caffe

8. Andreoli’s Italian Grocer
