Where to eat: the 37 best restaurants in Labuan Island

First time visiting this restaurant, probably will be the last. Very bad service attitude, refused to acknowledge and welcome customers as they walked into the restaurant. Staffs shouting and laughing in the restaurant while other diners were having their meals, to a point we had to ‘shh’ them. Menu displaying dishes were very different from what they plated and served. Rather deceiving. Ordered four dishes. 1. Thai green curry with chicken - awful, the chicken pieces were heavily coloured, it appeared to be neon green. Quite a scary view. Didn’t taste like an authentic dish at all. 2. Papaya salad - tasteless, no elements of acidity from lime, fragrances from peanuts. It was a dish made of a few ingredients but without any integration of flavours. 3. Tomyum rice vermicelli with seafood - the soup base was not made from fresh ingredients, may be from premade paste. It didn’t have the flavour profile that should present in a fine tomyum soup. 4. Tomyum fried rice with seafood - rice served was very soggy. Uneven distribution of seasonings, could physically bite on the crystals of salts and MSG. Rice, when cooked, were not tossed properly, could spot few rice clumps. Was expecting something to be rather mediocre-to-okay here in this restaurant. But it just turned out to be a very bad lunch experience with them. Better luck next time.
